As Assistant Director, Katie manages all aspects of graduate housing operations. She oversees the front desk team and directly supervises the Occupancy Coordinator. Katie collaborates closely with the Housing Access Coordinator to ensure housing accommodations are met. She provides guidance on all day-to-day housing assignment processes, including new assignments, room changes, early arrival and late stay requests, and summer contracts. Additionally, Katie works in partnership with the Associate Director to ensure housing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Katie earned a B.S. in Child Development from Northern Illinois University and her M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Roosevelt University. Prior to coming to 色控传媒 in 2016, Katie worked at Roosevelt University for 8 years in Student Services and Residence Life. In her free time, Katie enjoys exploring Chicago, going to movies and enjoying all Chicago summers have to offer with her family.
