Exams Proctored by Instructor
Testing Services encourages instructors to proctor their accommodated exams whenever possible, as this option provides several benefits.
- Students can readily ask questions.
- Students immediately receive any exam clarifications or general announcements during the exam.
- 1.75x and 2.0x extended time
- Computer use for short answer and essay questions
- Assistive Technology on exams
- Private testing room
- Special furniture arrangements
Proctoring options include:
- Proctor remotely using
- Use your office or departmental space for in-person proctoring.
- Reserve a room for in-person proctoring via the (25Live).
- Reserve proctoring space as early in the quarter as possible to ensure availability.
After you determine your proctoring plan, communicate the testing time and location to your students at least 1 week in advance.
