Testing Services collaborates with faculty to coordinate the implementation of AccessibleNU-approved test accommodations. Testing Services’ role in the testing process is to:
Support instructors in making proctoring plan decisions for their students utilizing their test accommodations.
Provide a testing environment and proctor students’ accommodated exams, including obtaining the exam file from the instructor and returning completed exam materials.
Maintain administrative processes that abide by 色控传媒 academic integrity and confidentiality policies.
Collaborate with ANU and faculty on test accommodation implementation concerns.
Roles & Responsibilities of Faculty
After receiving accommodation letters from ANU, faculty are responsible for determining a proctoring plan for any quizzes and exams in their courses. This requires faculty to:
Determine if students with test accommodations will take their exams at Testing Services or if the instructor will administer the accommodated exams.
If utilizing Testing Services, provide all exam information by completing the Testing Services Proctoring Agreement, as well as provide exam materials in a timely manner.
Communicate the proctoring plan to their students as soon as it has been determined (at least 1 week prior to the exam).
Collaborate with Testing Services and ANU on test accommodation implementation concerns.
Roles & Responsibilities of Students
Each quarter, students decide if they will utilize their ANU-approved test accommodations for each course. If they plan to utilize their test accommodations, students must:
Request their accommodations through ANU Student Portal to send accommodation letters to their instructors.
Communicate with faculty about their test accommodations and the proctoring plan for quizzes and exams in the course in a timely manner.
If testing at the Testing Services office, submit exam appointment requests at least 1 week in advance of the exam date.
Collaborate with Testing Services and faculty when having exam scheduling conflicts or accommodation concerns.
